REGULATION
1. TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS
The International Grassroots Football Tournament'Costa Daurada Cup' will be played according to the rules of FIFA and the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF). This regulation refers to the Football 11 and Football 7 competitions.
2. COMPETITION SYSTEM
2.1 Group Stage
The teams will be divided into groups of 4 teams that will compete in a single-round league.
2.2 Playoffs
- Gold Phase
- Silver Phase
- Bronze Phase
Once team registration is complete, the competition system for each category will be updated and the teams will be notified.
2.3 Match scoring
- Match won: 3 points
- Tied match: 1 point
- Lost match: 0 points
2.4 Duration of matches
- 2 x 25 min. (F11 matches)
- 2 x 20 min. (F7 matches)
2.5 Duration of breaks
5 min. (All categories)
3. SPECIAL PERMISSIONS
A player registered for the tournament is allowed to participate on two teams from the same club, provided they are not in the same age category. However, players participating in a higher age category may not play in a lower one. Furthermore, the player must be registered on the official rosters of both teams before the tournament begins.
Participation of female players in men's categories up to and including category B16 will be permitted.
3.1 11-a-side Football
A maximum of 3 players per team are allowed to participate who exceed the age limit of the category, provided they were born after 01/09 of the year prior to the corresponding category.
3.2 7-a-side Football
A maximum of 2 players per team are allowed to participate who exceed the age limit of the category, provided they were born after 01/09 of the year prior to the corresponding category.
3.3 Female categories
G-20, G-17, G-16, G-14: It will be allowed to register 2 players one year older in each of these categories without a month limit, as long as the limit of 3 players (11-a-side football) mentioned above is not exceeded.
G-14 F7 G-12, G-10: It will be allowed to register 1 player one year older in each of these categories without month limit, as long as the limit of 2 players in (7-a-side football) mentioned above is not exceeded.
3.4 International Teams
The tournament organizers have the authority to review and approve the registrations of teams from countries with different player categorization criteria.
The importance of this rule lies in guaranteeing equity and competitiveness within the tournament, ensuring that all teams compete in the appropriate categories and under the same standards of their respective countries. This may include evaluating the age of the players, the level of the league in which they compete, or any other relevant criteria to properly classify each team.
4. CLASSIFICATION CRITERIA
4.1 1st Phase (League)

- Overall goal difference
- Highest number of goals scored
- Fewer goals conceded
- Fair Play

If the tie is between more than two teams, it will be resolved:
- For the best score that corresponds to each one based on the results obtained between them, as if the others had not participated.
- Due to the greatest difference in goals for and against, considering only the games played against each other by the tied clubs.
- Highest number of goals scored during the competition between the tied teams.
- Fewest goals conceded during the competition between tied teams.
- Due to the greatest goal difference for and against, taking into account all the matches in the championship.
- Highest number of goals scored taking into account all matches in the competition.
- Fewest goals conceded taking into account all games.
- Fair Play
If there is still a tie, it will be resolved by drawing lots.
In the event that in the particular group of ties between more than two teams two of those teams are tied on points, the rule of "tie between two teams" will be applied.
5. ELIMINATORIES
If the qualifying match ends in a tie, 3 penalties will be taken per team.
In the event of a tie, the shots will continue alternately until there is a winner. Any player registered on the scoresheet may take penalties, even if they are a substitute at the end of the match.
Each player may only take one penalty, and may not repeat a penalty under any circumstances, only until the entire team has taken at least one penalty each.
If all players have taken a penalty, any player may take another penalty until the shoot-out is decided.
During the penalty shootout, the players of each team will occupy the central circle, leaving the technical team and the substitutes on the bench and off the field of play.
6. SPECIAL SITUATIONS
In the event that a match once started must be suspended due to force majeure or for other reasons beyond the control of the organization, it will be terminated with the result at the time of suspension. If the match has not been held, it will be played as provided by the organization.
7. NO. PLAYERS AND SUBSTITUTES
Football 11
A team may have all of its players registered in the tournament in each match: MAXIMUM 25 PLAYERS.
The changes are unlimited. A substituted player may play again. Changes may be made without stopping the game and without consulting the referee, following the following procedure: The player who is going to be substituted will have to leave the field before his substitute enters and always through the substitutes' area.
Football 7
A team may have all of its players registered in the tournament in each match: MAXIMUM 18 PLAYERS.
The changes are unlimited. A substituted player may play again. Changes may be made without stopping the game and without consulting the referee, following the following procedure: The player who is going to be substituted will have to leave the field before his substitute enters and always through the substitutes' area.
8. DOCUMENTATION
Fifteen minutes before each match, representatives from each team must confirm player numbers with the field delegate. Only those registered through the official tournament program will be able to confirm digitally via the field delegate's device. The match sheets will be filled out with the list of players and coaches provided to the organizers by each team's representative prior to the tournament.
The person responsible for the tournament may request the federation tokens, DNI or passport of any player or coach he considers at any time. These documents must be originals.
The field delegate may request a random check of the chips of up to 3 players during the match or immediately after the match.
Once the match has finished, the person in charge of each team must sign the match report. Failure to sign the report will result in the loss of the right to make a claim.
If the "Player List" has been previously confirmed, the right to claim any player or jersey number errors will be lost.
At the end of the match, the coach or team manager must digitally sign the match report on the field delegate's device, thus confirming their agreement with the result of the match.
9. CLOTHING
All shirts will be provided with numbers and these must match the match report. In case of a coincidence of colors and none of the teams has a second kit of a different color, the team that appears as a visitor in the match must play with bibs provided by the organization. The bibs will always be on top of the numbered shirts.
10. PLAYING GROUNDS
They will be made of natural grass or artificial grass. The use of aluminum studs is prohibited, both on natural and artificial grass fields. We recommend the use of rubber cleats for both fields.
11. PUNCTUALITY
Teams must be ready 15 minutes before the start of the match. If this is not the case and the organization understands that there is no cause to justify said non-appearance, the match will be considered lost to the offending team with a result of 3 – 0.
Breaks in Football 7 and Football 11 matches will have a maximum duration of 5 minutes. During breaks the teams will not be able to leave the field of play.
12. SANCTIONS – DISCIPLINARY REGIME
– Cards:
The player who is expelled from the match with a direct red card will be suspended for one or more matches. Depending on the reason for the expulsion, he could even be disqualified from participating again. Red card sanctions will always begin to be carried out in the next match, even if this coincides with the start of the Playoffs.
Any player who accumulates two yellow cards during the Championship will be suspended for the next match.
– Minimum number of players on the playing field:
Soccer 11 – If a team remains with 8 players, the match will be suspended and its resolution will be pending by the tournament competition committee.
Soccer 7 – If a team remains with 5 players, the match will be suspended and its resolution will be pending by the tournament competition committee.
– Accumulation of cards
In the event of a tie and as a fourth classification criterion, the accumulation of cards will have a negative value at the time of classification (Fair Play):
In the event of a tie and as a fifth classification criterion, incorrect clothing will have a negative value when qualifying (Fair Play).
Incorrect Clothing Criteria:
Any item of kit different from that of the rest of the team: t-shirt, pants or socks.

FAIR PLAY NEGATIVE SCORING CRITERIA
During the game:
A yellow = 1 point.
Double yellow = 3 points.
A straight red = 5 points.
Dress
For each Player who fails to comply with the official clothing = 1 point
For the sum of warnings, the organization will be governed by the official match minutes.
– Team behavior
If a team demonstrates a violent attitude during the competition (protests against referee decisions, confrontation with rivals or with the organization, etc.) it may be automatically expelled from the tournament.
All cases of serious expulsion will be reported to the National Federation of the affected player's country.
In the case of a violent attitude on the part of the players assigned to the Royal Spanish Football Federation or Spanish Territorial Federations, these cases will be reported to them, providing names and surnames of those involved, these federations and their sanctioning bodies being the ones that could impose disciplinary sanctions.
Team delegates will be responsible for the attitude and behavior of their players towards referees, teammates, opponents, public, organization and materials of the sports facilities (changing rooms, benches, playing fields,)
Teams are responsible for the behavior of their fans. Misconduct by fans may result in the team's exclusion from the tournament.
The organization will inspect the locker rooms before and after each match with the delegates of each team to certify that they are used correctly. If any damage occurs, whether in the benches, locker rooms or playing field, the delegate, the team and the person who causes said damage or damage will be responsible for them.
13. PLAYER REGISTRATION
The list of players will be announced on the tournament's official website. To do so, team delegates will receive keys and passwords along with an email explaining how to manage the list.
Any changes that need to be made to the list of players 20 days before the tournament must be communicated to the Tournament Organization.
In the event that an unregistered player plays in any of the matches, the team will incur a disqualification and lose the match 3-0.
14. REGISTRATION OF COACHES
The list of coaches will be published on the tournament's official website. Team delegates will receive usernames and passwords along with an email explaining how to access the list.
Any changes that need to be made to the list of coaches 20 days before the tournament must be communicated to the Tournament Organization.
Only coaches registered in the program (maximum 4) will be able to confirm jersey numbers and match reports after the game. They are responsible for any conduct on the field.
Only these officials are authorized to remain in the technical area. If there are no markings delimiting the technical area, it will be considered an 8-meter space along the touchline where the substitutes are located.
15. REFEREES
All Tournament matches will be directed by national and international referees.
The referee will be the highest authority on the field of play, he will have the power to suspend the match if he sees any negative attitude in the behavior of a team.
16. CLAIMS
Protests or claims must be submitted in writing to the field manager within 30 minutes of the end of the match in question.
Once the match has finished, the person in charge of each team must sign the match report. Failure to sign the report will result in the loss of the right to make a claim.
If the "List of Players" has not been previously submitted, the right to claim any player or number error will be lost.
The competition committee decides whether the claim is valid and the decision will be communicated via email.
The Organization will not accept protests derived from the arbitration action.
The Organization will not accept any protest of an ethical or disciplinary nature without conclusive evidence of this.
17. COMPETITION COMMITTEE
All decisions of the Competition Committee are final and all participants must respect these decisions without exception.
18. GAME PROGRAM
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to make changes to the match program, both in terms of group division, schedules and playing fields.
The information regarding the changes will be reported to the team leader.
All modifications will be communicated in the tournament App and by SMS to those responsible for each team.
19. BALLS
The Football 11 matches will be played with an OFFICIAL ball, size 5.
The Football 7 matches will be played with an OFFICIAL ball, size 4.
Each team must bring balls to carry out warm-up exercises.
20. INSURANCE
All players registered on time for the program will be covered by private medical insurance arranged by the tournament organizers.
The organization is not responsible for losses or thefts during the tournament.
Any material damage caused to the football fields or accommodations by any player registered in the Tournament may be claimed from their club or academy for any charges received by the Organization.
21. ACCEPTANCE OF STANDARDS
The teams participating in the 'COSTA DAURADA CUP TOURNAMENT' accept the regulations that this organization has for it and to which everyone has access on the tournament website and app.

Silver Phase: The worst second-place finishers (if applicable), third or best third-place finishers, and, if applicable, fourth-place finishers qualify.
Bronze Phase: if applicable, the worst third-placed teams, fourth-placed teams, or worst fourth-placed teams qualify.
